Well, here is the deal:

ATTENTION!! ATTENTION!! DUE TO OVERWHELMING RESPONSE AGAIN THIS YEAR WE HAVE EXTENDED THE SUBMISSION DEADLINE TO JUNE 11, 2010.  HURRY AND GET YOUR ESSAYS IN FOR THE CHANCE FOR THE EXPERIENCE OF A LIFETIME!!

We will begin accepting applications for our 2010 “You Are Not Alone” summer retreat April 1, 2010. You do not want to pass up the chance to be a part of this fun and empowering retreat! It will definitely be a life-changing event!

• We are seeking young ladies between 12 and 18 years of age.
• The selection process will be based upon a written essay. These essays should provide background information on the candidate (name, age, birthplace, education/school, and goals).
• They should also include why she feels that she would be a good candidate for the program.
• Girls ages 12-15 are required to prepare an essay of 400-800 words. Girls ages 15-18 are required to prepare an essay of 800-1500 words. **1500 words is the maximum requirement for both age groups.

The composition should have feeling and heartfelt expression. Sincerity, honesty, and a true need for guidance is the voice and sentiment that is sought.
